Matthew Abraham Groening- Cartoonist, Screenwriter, Animator, Producer.

Matthew Abraham "Matt" Groening is a U.S. cartoonist, screenwriter, producer, animator, author, musician, comedian, and voice actor. He is the creator of the comic strip 'Life in hell' as well as the co-creator of two successful television series, The Simpson, Futurama and a Christmas special, Olive the Reindeer. The Simpson has gone on to become the longest running U.S. primetime television series in history, as well as the longest running animated series and sitcom.

Matt Groening made his first professional cartoon sale of Life in Hell to the event-grade Wet magazine in 1978. During its peak cartoon were carried out in 250 newspapers. Life in Hell caught the attention of James L. Brooks an American movie director. James contacted Groening in 1985 with the proposition of working in animation for the Fox variety show The Tracey Ullman show.

What is editing- Editing is the process of selecting and preparing written, visual, audio and film media to convey information. There are many different styles of editing and often varies for different genres. Origins (Pioneers of editing)- The Lumieres brothers- Auguste Marie Louis Nicolas and Louis Jean were among the first filmmakers in history. The brothers were French inventors and pioneer manufacturers of photographic equipment. They devised an early motion picture camera called the cinematograph, had lent its name to an exciting new form of art and entertainment.  The advantage of this was that it was the world first video camera, which could record, print, and project.
